Spark Graphic Design Firm

Course: IDES 454 / Interior Design VI

2013

Objective: Design a graphic design firm for the existing company Spark on the 42nd floor (20,000sf) of the Bank of America building in Houston, TX. The program included the needs for various staff and departments along with the CEO’s personal preferences. The final design was presented to the CEO of Spark.

Concept: Apply the principles of graphic design layouts to the views experienced in the physical space. I made sketches referencing several magazine pages by assigning materials from my palette to text, images, and negative space. These sketches became the sectional views of the interior. Knoll Antenna was used for the systems furniture.

Execution: Rhino/Vray and Photoshop
