This interior was done in a 2013 interior design studio. The assignment was to design a graphic design firm for Spark on the 42nd floor of the Bank of America building in Houston, TX measured around 20,000 sf. The program included the needs for various staff and departments along with the CEO’s personal preferences.
My concept was to apply the principles of graphic design layouts to the sectional views experienced in the physical space. I made sketches of several magazine pages by assigning materials from my palette to text, images, and negative space. These sketches became the sectional views of the interior. Knoll Antenna was used for the systems furniture. These renderings were made with Rhino/Vray and Photoshop.
